Wireless Printing With A Twist?

Hi, this is a long one. I have a network at home, 1 wired desktop pc running xp, and 1 laptop. I have the default router from sky, currently providing internet access for both computers, the desktops via some cable and the laptop wireless. Now I have a printer/scanner thing, that is connected to the desktop via usb. Now I can use the printer and the scanner from my laptop via the same usb cable; but its a lot of hassle having to unplug and mess about with cables. What I want to be able to do, is to print and scan from my laptop wirelessly, without compromising the usage from my desktop pc. My router is a Netgear DG834GT, my laptop is running vista 32bit and my desktop is running xp media centre edition 32bit. Any details on request, and if you think you may need to contact me, its sallison1504@gmx.com

I need to install a cd on a laptop with no cd drive?

I need to install a program from a CD onto a laptop with no drive. I have the laptop on a wireless network with 2 other desktops. I can’t afford to buy an external drive right now, or much of anything, for that matter. Any ideas? Thanks!

How To Upgrade RAM In A Desktop Computer

To install RAM in a desktop computer, you must find out what kind of RAM your motherboard can use. To get the most out of your motherboard, get as much RAM you can fit into one slot. To find out the maximum RAM per slot, you divide the maximum supported RAM by the number of slots. Next, you remove the case/covering so you can get inside your computer. Next, touch a metal doorknob or something metal so your static electricity doesn’t harm the computer components. Next, put the RAM into the slots it fits in. This is safe because there are no other slots RAM can fit into besides the RAM slots. Next, replace the case/covering. Next, plug everything back up. Next, turn on your system and right click computer and click properties. This will show you how much RAM you have.
