I’m looking for a socket 775 processor that is better or equal to a intel core 2 duo (2.0ghz) that are decent and CHEAP. They dont have to be super new or anything, and price is more of a priority than anything. The cheapest I’m finding is like 150 dollars and that just doesnt seem right….

how would an intel Core 2 Duo Processor E7500 2.93 GHZ, fit in there?

I want to buy a new high end processor.i have two choices in front of me.but i dont know know which to choose.i really like the 1) Pentium® Processor Extreme Edition 965.its a 3.73 Ghz 1066 Mhz bus speed.But i do think of the latest release by intel the core 2 duo processor.i liked the 2) Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor X6800 really [2.93 Ghz,1066 Mhz bus speed.both the processors are 64 bit and dual core.the Pentium® Processor Extreme Edition 965 is hyper threaded , while the Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor X6800 is not.i dont know which to pick.can some one help me.
Price doesnt matter.the extreme edition costs 1000$ US.i dont know the price of core2duo.please tel me its price.
About the mother board i think the Intel® 975X is good.please tell me more about the mother board.

My laptop has a intel core 2 duo processor @ 2.0 gigahertz and 4 gb of ram, but it has a intel 965 express chipset. I was wondering if there is a way to make it any better in regards to graphic capabilities. I know you can’t change the video card but I was wondering if there was anything else I could do.

I plan to use it for presentations, with Visio and VR Tours. You’re right the battery life probably isn’t very good. I really like the 20 inch screen and portability.

A processor for the computer and is the intel core 2 duo processor compatible with a dell computer.

My dad wants to buy a new laptop and is looking at the Sony Vaio VGN-FZ430E/B Laptop or the Presario A931NR Laptop. I am not sure what to tell him…….I also know that the biggest different is that one operates with an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor and the other is an Intel Pentium Dual-Core MObile Processor. Any thoughts?
