I have Internet Explorer, and whenever I click links, they pop up in a new window. Is there a way that I can change it to just pop up in a new tab?

My Adaware stopped working, I must have something that is preventing it from working and I’d like to get rid of it. My computer worked for a good 4 months with this problem but now my internet explorer is acting funky and wont work (gotta use a different computer) and things are freezing a whole lot more.

So whats the best FREE program?

I recently downloded internet explorer 9 and it doesn’t act right. How do I change back?
Also, do you know of any other explorers i can download that’ll work with vista?

Tried to clean up some space on my desktop (dell 4600, about 5 yrs old now) running XP. Think I may have deleted some components to some programs that won’t work properly now. Internet explorer freezes up, Outlook express freezes up when you hit send/receive button, Windows media player will play but none of the buttons work. Firefox still works ok. About myself – I am not the most adept when it comes to working behind the scenes on computers. Yes, I tried to do a system restore but the option was turned off on my computer prior to this happening so that option is out of the question. Can anyone help? (and please go easy on me – I’ve learned from my mistakes!)
