Norton Utilities Review – Part 3

In this video review I went through the features and capabilities found on Norton Utilities version 14 developed by Symantec Corporation. I made a description of the main four sections found on the Norton Utilities 14 as well as their subsections and their purposes. Norton Utilities is a computer software application developed by Symantec Corp. with the aim of optimizing the performance, stability and reliability of computer systems running Microsoft Windows 7, Vista and XP. The software works by making alterations to the Windows registry, changing start up items, managing the services available on the computer, defragmenting the Windows registry, making clean-up jobs and defragmenting the hard drives found on your computer. Norton Utilities 14 is also capable of carrying other tasks such as doing monitoring related activities and performance tests. Other functionalities and capabilities found on the Norton Utilities 14 application include a wide variety of tools and services that allow a thorough computer management to be done by the user; some of these tools and services include the “local users and groups”, “disk manager” and “event viewer” between others.
