Which computer should I buy? A Lenovo U460-087722U or a Macbook Pro?

Here are the specs and details of each as shown online:

Lenovo U460-087722U
– Intel® Core™ i5-450M Processor ( 2.40GHz 1066MHz 3MB )
– Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64

– 500GB 5400 Hard Disk
– 8 Cell Lithium-Ion
– Intel Wireless Wi-Fi Link 1000
– Bluetooth Version 2.1 + EDR
– One year Warranty
– Fingerprint Reader

New MacBook Pro 13.3” (MC374LL/A)
– 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo
– 4GB DDR3 PC3-8500 (2x2GB)
– 250GB Hard Disk
– NVIDIA GeForce 320M
– SD Slot
– SuperDrive 8x DLBluetooth 2.1
– iSight
– FW 800

I can get the Lenovo for about 6 and the Macbook for 49 although the Macbook will come with an 8gb iPod touch (9 value) and an HP F4480 All-in-One Printer (~ value). Money really isn’t an issue for me. If I sell the IPod and printer, it’ll be around the same price anyway. I just need a laptop that will last long and can handle all the media-related tasks I do ie. playing movies and some video editting.

I love both laptops, but I also hear mixed reviews for both. I like the Lenovo’s specs the best even though the Mac’s graphics card is of higher quality and I hear that Lenovos are pretty durable. On the other hand, I also heard that Macs are designed for entertainment, so despite its lower quality specs, such as its 2Core Duo vs. the Lenovo’s i5 processor, it should be more efficient than the Lenovo. Not being computer guru, I have no way to tell if these remarks are true. Can you guys please help me decide on which laptop to buy? Thanks!!!
I am a student, so I will be able to get the Mac deal that I mentioned above at my school.
