3.455 studio 17 which one would you take 5000 dollars is my limit but my brothers said pc are better then macs because mac are so high but you get so little for the money when you can get this pc for all that money

NOTE: I recommend leaving links to computers instead of pasting it, because this is almost completely impossible to read or discern.
Most people will give you opinions on this subject, but I will be as non-biased as possible.
PC’s are notable the most money efficient for the power. They tend to be better for gaming because of this tenancy. They are usually loaded with Vista (sometimes still XP), which is notably a controversial operating system because some people have good experiences with it, some do not. I have yet to have a bad experience with it, but i can imagine it will eat a lot of performance.
Apple computers are expensive and are not money efficient. However, Apple has great customer service and support. They will cover their expensive products very well and for a long time. But they still come with the problem that they cost a lot and your getting far less.
If your wondering, i cannot compare these computers because you did not provide links, the products cannot be discerned because the Apple laptop information you listed is not specific enough to help determine the deal for you.
Note: I can determine right now that these prices are huge rip offs. I recommend Newegg.com, as it has a large inventory with competitive prices and good purchase support.
EDIT: From the sound of your tech knowledge, building a laptop sounds beyond your capabilities.

For $5000 I could build a machine that would make these two look like they were boat anchors.

Those computers both suck. I mean for laptops they have good specs, but why would you ever pay even half of that for a laptop when you could build a desktop that was at least 3 or 4 times better for the same price?
If you need a laptop, get one for like $1500 with a Geforce 9600 and 2.4GHz CPU. Hell, you can get an HP with the new mobile quad core for $2000.
If you spend $5000 on a laptop, especially that Mac, I pity you. The specs are miserable and do not warrant that kind of money. I wouldn’t even spend $2500 on computers with those specs.

I take it this is going to be a Business computer. For the money you are talking about I would go with an IBM. The PC you can virtually do anything with it software and hardware wise, the Mac is more Limited in nature.
