@ChasingFlies I believe the monitor is 60hz. so it wouldn’t affect it unless he was getting extremely high fps.
July 6th, 2010 on 10:22 pm
@generalsniper thats the thing, he can go over 60fps,which he is limited to with the 60hz monitor

We just had one of our customers come to the SLAPPA showroom with his Asus. We love it because it’s a serious piece of gear. Trust us, we make cases for DJ CDJ players, large keyboards, recording decks and of course laptops. We love how our M.A.S.K. backpack and HardBody Laptop case have been so enthusiastically received by G73 owners. Cody thanks for coming over yesterday and enjoy your new M.A.S.K.

I’m in the market for a new gaming pc, but I ran into this bad boy. How would this compare to a gaming desktop for around $1000?
October 23rd, 2010 on 9:11 pm
Run SC2 and see how it is.
October 26th, 2010 on 12:06 am
@poncekid56 Well the pc would do better, but you would have to buy a monitor and keyboard etc.

Could you run FFXIV online benchmark on this machine?
December 17th, 2010 on 7:21 pm
The only thing I don’t like is that the screen catches a lot of your reflection on the sreen while you are playing. Is there anyway to avoid this? Thanks.

April 15th, 2011 on 9:13 am
@Henrylo2 the m17x is the best gaming laptop, but it breaks very easy, and 2nd asus looks cooler and it’s rubberized :D

The only downside to these laptops is they cant have 2x graphics cards my alienware m17x R2 has 2x 5870M cards and no game struggles i just wish these had crossfire but i do love my M17X.
