I have a CD with a song and a slide show on it and I want it to play on my DVD player. A Friend changed the file from the Flash to Windows but my computer‘s security won’t accept the file in windows media player and I don’t have the Flash. I can’t change the security on my computer because it is my work’s computer. I really wanted it for my DVD player.

You can open the SWF file in a browser on your computer by clicking File>Open and browsing to the SWF file.
The problem with converting it to play on a DVD is that the SWF file is very compressed already and the quality won’t be very good. If you don’t care about that, you can convert it to AVI or Quicktime, and then create a DVD, but you will need a DVD authoring program to do that. Many DVD writers come with some form of software that will create DVDs. If you don’t have anything, you can probably find some free software to do it.
Flash, Quicktime Pro, Sorenson Squeeze will all convert SWF to AVI or Quicktime. You can probably find somthing for free on the internet by searching in Google or Yahoo. JR

I know there are some free DVD burning software, such as ImgBurn, Burn4Free. They are free and you can free download here:

And if a swf converter is needed, you can use this program; Aunsoft SWF Converter. It can convert SWF files to AVI, WMV, MOV, MPEG, 3GP, AAC, MP4, etc.
