Like any desktop, it will eventually get bogged down by crap that you put on your computer. Treat it like others and purge it every two years or so giving it a full re-partitioning and you’ll find it runs like new each time you do it. I’ve made a few upgrades for a better video card and more memory which took well, no issues.
