I am either looking at getting a 10" mini wireless keyboard with built in mouse or a wireless mouse controller (the latter using windows onscreen virtual keyboard.
I am using to play divx movies, web surfing and the occasional video game (rarely). I am close enough I could plug in a usb keyboard when necessary.
I like the idea of the mini keyboard, but I think it would be a hassle when just using it watch movies (and pausing to go to the bathroom).
I also will use it to watch episodes I missed that are stored online, like my heroes (nbc.com – blows my mind that they keep the whole episode online as decent resolution)

you should look for a better tv tuner card ( pci or mini pci based) rather then a wireless keyboard
they are available for both notebooks and pcs .
you can simply use a remote control similar to tv remote control to play pause the tv or movies you can even select what song you want to play . its not more confusing and is more compact just use a media center edition with it .

If you don’t NEED wireless, don’t get it. It will get pricey for good quality, and can potentially really confuse your computer.

go for the keyboard then set mouse keys on (go to your mouse options in control panel) so you can also use your arrow keys as a mouse
