It’s OK, but how much are you going to pay?
If you like to download pictures and music. 160GB hard drive it’s OK, but if you want to download movies, and videos, plus pictures and music it;s better to have at least 200GB of hard drive the memory it’s OK, but today most of laptops are coming with 3GB or Ram.
If you don’t play video games it’s OK. cause that video card is only for very lite games.
Later on I’lll browse for other brands and post you the link.
With $950 you get a much better laptop with Intel Core 2duo not the dual core. and with 200.GHz.
This laptop has a core 2duo @2.1ghz and a much faster bus speed. plus 320GB hard drive where you can download tons of pictures, songs, and movies. although I don’t like the graphic card, but if Youre not a gamer it’s OK.
PD 4GB ram memory, and the 64bit Vista which much better than the 32bit Vista.

All looks good.
Not much point in going for more than 2Gb RAM, Windows can only work with 2.6Gb anyway.
Hard drive big enough for a laptop. Use cheap external (USB) drive for videos.
Processor is plenty powerful.
Drop DellCare package unless its free.
and pink is definitely a nice color.
However for about $200 less you can buy the same elsewhere. My employer buys a lot of Acer notebooks and we have no trouble with them. See the link below…………….
