Internet explorer was deleted off my other computer my mistake. Is there another way I can get it back.
What other way can I pull up the internet on the computer without using internet explorer?
I can’t find the icon or the file anywhere. I have windows XP

I’d download Firefox (because it’s probably simpler to handle) to your good machine, put it on a thumb drive or CD and move it over to the blind machine. After installing, you can decide whether or not you still want to download and reinstall IE (7, these days. I don’t know if you can still get 6).
Good luck.

download it, Yahoo.com used to have a prompt to download IE7, although it’s not there anymore. Just go on the net and search of Internet Explorer 7 download

When you say deleted, what exactly do you mean? Do you mean the execute file was deleted? Was just the icon deleted? Was it uninstalled instead of deleted? Please explain the "deleted" part a little more. You can copy the execute file onto a CD, transfer it to the other machine, enough to get an internet connection, then re-download the whole thing. And you DON’T want IE7. IE6 is still available, either through Microsoft or through Tucows. And, it would help if we knew your operating system. I’m assuming Windows XP, and if that’s so, things might get a little easier. Amend your question to add a little more information!
OK, try this first, okay?!? Click on Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, and when that list loads, on the left click on Add/Remove Windows Components. When THAT list loads, scroll down and find Internet Explorer. Put a checkmark by it, then close the Control Panel and restart the computer. I’m hoping enough of the file is left to give you an icon and let you get on to the internet. click on My Computer, Local Disk C, Program Files, then internet explorer. If the blue e in a circle is there, click on it to see if it will connect. If it does, hooray, problem solved. If not…
If not, then on the working computer, if you have a CD burner, click on My Computer, then Local Disk C, then Programs Files, then Internet Explorer. Find the blue e in a circle, and copy or burn it to a CD. it should be 91 KB. You’d then have to load it onto the ailing computer and try to back into IE6 that way. One or the other of these methods should your ailing computer back onto the internet.
Good luck, and I hope this helps!
