I recently bought a Maxtor One Touch 4 external USB hard drive to plug into my MacBook. The hard drive is running perfectly fine, however it goes to sleep if you leave it for several minuets. This means if I pause a song playing from my hard drive, it takes several seconds for my hard drive to load up and play it again.

Is their a way I can stop my hard drive from sleeping?
