I accidentally put that fake plastic memory card that comes in laptops into the CD drive opening and now it is stuck. I have tried tipping the computer over and shaking it out, but it still doesn’t work. My CD drive is not the type that ejects…it is the skinny opening where the CD just slides in. Pressing eject doesn’t work either. Any help would be appreciated!

Get a thin piece of wood (from an ice popsicle (I think that’s what they’re called in the US lol)) put a drop of super/crazy glue on it and press it on to the card for a few seconds. It should pull right out ☺

you may be lucky – have you tried tweezers / needle nose pliers? you’ll need a good light source to shine into the slot so you can see what you are doing.
