I scanned a drawing on my hp printer and its in pdf format so I can’t post it on facebook or photobucket. I’ve been trying to change it to another format for awhile now but nothing working! And no matter how many times I copy it to the pictures file it won’t stay there! Its so annoying! Help please!

Open the picture so it shows on the desk top.
Hit the print screen button. This copies it to the computer clipboard.
Open the paint program
Paste the picture into paint. Press the Ctrl Key and the V key at the same time.
Click on the File button (top of page) and choose Save As
When the save as box comes up click on the down arrow under save as file type and choose jpeg as the file type.
Click save and it is now a jpeg or the type of file you chose.
There are other ways to do it but this will require NO additional software. As paint is built into all versions of Windows.

you can only highlight+copy and paste it on a words document and then open it with PAINT AND there save it as jpeg FILE
Nothing else that you can do

The easiest way would be to scan to a jpg file instead of a pdf file, but if that is not working for you, you can try one of the following:
- open the pdf in photoshop and save as jpg.
- take screen shots of the pdf and paste into paint to save as jpg.

Here’s a freeware pdf to jpg converter, my friend.
Edit:
My apologies. It seems that the version available on that first url is now a shareware product. You can, however, download the last freeware version from the second url below.
Edit 2:
There’s another freeware pdf to jpg converter at the third url below.

Try some pdf converter software that can help you convert PDF to word or other format.

or you could simply use the screenshot tool to screen the image you need.
