My brother has made a user account on my laptop which I want to delete.
However, when I go into control panel, user accounts, manage another account, it asks me to enter an administrator password with his account picture popping up. I think he has made himself administrator and changed my account type to standard user.
Any ways around this (he is not willing to give me the password)?
Thanks!

If he has changed your account to standard, you are SOL ! You can make NO changes to the system nor can you download anything off line any more… He can now also turn on parental controls & use them to spy in you & see everything you type & every were you go online… Smart Kid your brother….LOL

If he has made you a limited user, your kinda out of luck.
You could try guessing his password using the hint feature.
There are tools for bypassing the windows password, a search engine is a good thing for that. You will need to boot to a shell that is out of the operating system.

hello ,
well i have a answer that can work for you , but it needs ur luck
well first of all , when u start ur windows , do u get classic prompt(in which u can enter your USERNAME(from keyborad) AND PASSWORD)
or welcome prompt ( in which you just CLIKC on username listed , and enter password )
i hope you have welcome prompt
, so what you can do is
when ur windows start just go to SAFEMODE using F7
then u will be prompted for username and password
there username by default is ‘ADMINISTRATOR’ so then in the password u leave it blank ( this needs ur luck)
then u will enter in ur windows with ADMIN privileges ,
then u can change ur account and make ur brothers account to NULL
i hope u get it
best of luck
