You can download this free and legal operating system, otherwise you have to go to the store and buy windows XP for it. You wont be able to instal Vista on the computer, as it is not capible of handling and pirated software is illegal.

you wil have to buy one fom the store or use ubuntu it’s free and you can download it fom http://www.ubuntu.com

you are going to have to buy one at an online retialer or download a freeware linux OS.
I would not recommand vista, as I don’t think your laptop will handle that.

You could also try linux OS like ubuntu or xubuntu at http://www.ubuntu.com/ http://www.xubuntu.org/

If you’ve ever bought any other brand new computers it should have come with a downloading CD you put the CD that says some operating system on it in the ROM and it should ask questions and go on your computer otherwise ubuntu is the only choice.
