There is a Word document I need in my old Windows 98. There is no printer for that computer (don’t use it, anymore). The only media drive in common is a cd drive. I’ve not been able to copy the doc to the
cd-rs I use for my XP machine. Please help. Thanks!
The Win 98 machine is not online. It has an older USB port – 2.0 flash drive doesn’t fit. My printer is the same USB. I wonder about the disks. Old disks say 650 MB. Are those still around?

Just unplug your harddrive from old machine and connect it to your new machine. Get documents.
Or put a network card to your old machine, and setup a home network to exchange files

Try a memory stick or flash drive download it on to that and then load on to the Xp system.

if the 98 computer has a USB port, which it should, you can get a USB flash drive, save the document on that, then transfer it onto the XP.

use a thumb drive to transfer or just e-mail it.
