My friend registered for the website; therefore, the domain name and e-commerce site is on his/her computer. I want to build the site from my computer. How do I access the build a site from my computer, or transfer it to another computer?

If you registered for a Yahoo! domain and website then it’s not on any one person’s computer, it’s on Yahoo!’s server. All you have to have is, the files to upload from ANY computer, and the FTP password.
I’m a web designer. One of my clients (and another client I used to have) has a Yahoo! website. I have copies of the client’s files on three of my laptops (one MacOSX and two Windows). I can update the website from all three. All you have to know is, that FTP userid and password. Then you set up an FTP program (like, say, Filezilla or Firefox/FireFTP)…and whip it out there.
