It’s obvious you won’t be travelling with that laptop, considering that sucker is going to weigh at least 12 pounds with the AC power brick and have very short battery life.
Personally, I would spend much less money and get a desktop machine with comparable specs, if room isn’t an issue. (which is the only reason to get a heavy "desktop replacement" laptop like that.)

That is a horrible price!
You could build an awesome gaming computer with i7 possessor and DDR3 Memory that would shit all over that rig for that much money.

Lose one of the HDs and get one 7200 RPM drive. For that price, the processor is a bit on the slow side, too. Ditch the Norton if it’s not standard as well as the Online Backup. Hmmm… That’s about it, I’d say. That’s a lot of money for a computer with a pretty much obsolete processor. Without knowing what option is costing what I can’t really say much. You’d probably also be fine with just 4 GB of RAM unless you do serious video editing or 3-D animation. For that much money, I could build four desktop computers with those specs., including the 8 GB RAM…

That price makes me sick! This computer below is just as powerful for only: $470.00

It even comes with a better video card.
