There’s a button under "File" in iMovie that reads "Burn Project to Disk". Final Cut which is less in simplicity, dismissed the button, or does it? Is there a button that is equivalent to that button in iMovie. How do I burn a Final Cut Express project to a disk? Can I delete the project afterwards, and open the project from the disk, without losing ANYTHING? Thankyou, for taking your time reading this.

No such button in Final Cut. You’ve gotta go to "File>Export>QuickTime Movie…" Then open that new exported sequence in iDVD (or DVD Studio Pro) to burn it to a disc. The new sequence is nothing more than a video file, it saves none of the project data. If you delete the project file, you’ll lose all your edits. Also, if you delete the raw footage in your ‘scratch disk,’ you’ll not be able to access your edited sequence unless you can replace the footage (which is unlikely unless you’ve got it saved on a separate drive. Recaptured footage doesn’t work).
You’ll notice the difference in file size if you get the info on an iMovie project and a FC project. iMovie projects are large because they save the video file within. FC files are kind of like creating a shortcut to your raw footage (which is located in your scratch disk). If you want to keep the project available, I’d recommend you get a large external hard drive to store all your old files. Trash the rendered files because they require a lot of space and you can always render them again in the sequence.
