By using the clone option, the mac address of WAN changes,
but how to change mac address of the router itself
Also i can’t change the subnet mask of the router
i can change the ip address from 192.168.0.1 to something different
but subnet mask remains 255.255.255.0
i try to change subnet mask to 255.255.255.255 , but I get invalid ip message
why is it so?

MAC addresses are hard coded into equipment, its quite difficult to ‘spoof’ completely and likely the clone option is your routers manual option if you changed the routers actual mac to the same as the computer it may cause issues with internet connectivity,
The subnet defines how many computers you can have connected the subnet mask you define would allow no addresses for computers, and for home networks the default of 255.255.255.0 should be fine.
255.255.255.0 allows 252 computers to be connected.
