My company’s proxy server blocks me from going to myspace..I work for a huge telecom company and I am sure we have more than one proxy server. Is there any software I can run that will find other proxy servers on my network so I can try to use them? NE body have any ideas how to find out about other proxy servers on my network?

Circumventing Internet access control systems with web proxies to access unauthorized web sites is a violation of company computer usage policy. You will get fired from your job when you get caught. Use company computers for work, and myspace can wait until you get home. Do you really want your boss and company IT administrators knowing what you post on myspace anyways?

you could use a port scanner for well know proxy ports such as 8080, or 3128. Check under Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet options > connections tab > LAN settings for the current proxy and port and scan for that.
BUT, running a port scanner on your network could get you in trouble and if the sysadmin is any good they will know.
and if its company policy to block myspace your probably won’t find another proxy allowing it and if you did, it does get logged ;-)
