I have a modem and a Cisco wireless router. i used to get signal with no problem but i recently moved to the basement and now i get weaker signal on my laptop. we have 3 laptops and ipad and ipod touch and a ps3 all working on the wireless router. What is a strong wireless router that can support all of these things while still having strong signal and at the same time not too expensive.

I would get a large ethernet cable and connected the ps3 and the router that way you have optimal signal. No need of making allot of holes for the cable to pass just go out the window and snake the cable to the window with the router. But make sure you check how long the cable should be that way you know which one to buy.

Walls and electrical wiring / equipment interfere with the signal. Try moving your laptop to different locations within your room and refresh the signal. You could also try moving the router to direct the signal towards you location.
