Those pr*cks at the RIAA have evidently convinced Dell to remove Stereo Mix from my sound card, which lets me record what I hear coming out of the speakers to a file. Is there anyway to get it back? It’s a Dell XPS 410 with a SigmaTel Hi-Def audio card.

Perhaps find some non-dell supplied drivers for the sound card. They may have just disabled the option in the OS though, in which case, I’m not sure where to find that.

put a different sound card in your pc,
creative soundblasters’ do what you want.
