These are big files, 3GB.
I want to transfer some files to another laptop. I have a Ethernet cable, LAN cable, phone cord cable.
Basically,
I would like to transfer files from one laptop to another using either a Ethernet cable, LAN cable, or phone cord cable.
How do I do this?

Hi..
I think you have LAN connections between two Laptop.
If yes, Share the file in Laptop from which one you need.
Then go to the second laptop. And copy the file what you shared in previous laptop.

Set up your LAN local area network then log onto the other laptop and copy the files over

you cant with just the cables if you only have the cables if you have a router you can put both laptops on the network and just share the files and transfer them over what os do you have and do you have a router if not you need a crossover cable

You need a portable hard drive or a memory stick. They are not expensive. They are straight forward and easy to transfer files from one laptop to another.

You can connect two computers to form small network using normal ethernet cables connected from each laptop to a hub or router. Another option is connect both computers directly using crossover ‘x’ Ethernet cable. The second option is cheaper! Search for crossover Ethernet cable on the web for more details. Very easy setup. Then all you have to do is drag and drop the files to the other laptop.

use cross cable to connect these two computers.
