1. Would this computer properly run World of Wacraft and Starcraft 2 with full settings?
2. Do I need to buy a power chord or does it already come with one?

This laptop will run anything you want it to run at full settings. This is one of the most powerful laptops out there.
Of course it comes with a power cord, it’s a laptop. They can’t sell you a laptop with a way to charge it.

yes it more than likely would ,but consider a desktop, as they are easier to cool.more air around components to circulate cool air, more to upgrade, than a laptop? laptop very compact , smaller CPU, hardrer to dissipate heat? Can only upgrade Ram, Hard drive and Operating System, if compatible?

That can assist with video cards and games to determine what you need for graphics/fps.
As for your machine it’s very much like the one I’m looking at. I’m going 8 gig ram and the 500 gig hard drive. If you keep your laptop lean (nothing besides the two games and various add-ons from curse) you should have plenty of power and space. I tend to load videos, music, and photos galore on mine so I like to have more disc space. this is bad on my part because the more you use of the hard drive the slower it can run. Lean is good. SC2 and WOW aren’t really that demanding though relative to other games out there.
Also, if you’re looking at the deals you can click on the deals on the front alienware page and it will give you 5%-15% off. I actually upgraded my screen to get it to jump to the 15% off and basically got it for free. If you just go to the laptop section it wasn’t giving me the discount at check out.
In regards to service… I’ve been looking for cheaper/better and found some incredible machines for cheap, but the service reviews when there issues (gray screen of death was VERY common) sounded horrible. Dell’s service, from past experience, is pretty good BUT you may have issues with communication as the accent can be extremely thick at times.
Powerful laptops can get VERY warm despite cooling methods so make sure you don’t clog the vents (blankets on the bed for example).
Long story short though, yes that will have the power to do what you want.
