My computer does not have a CD DVD drive, only a CD RW drive. Is it possible to use a dvd player for a computer game, and how to connect it if possible. The computer is a dell d 3100. I used a different computer for computer games, but it crashed, and this computer can’t be used.

No that won’t work.
What I suggest is that you remove the DVD drive from the crashed PC & install it on the Dell.

I am sorry to say but no, you need a DVD drive installed in the Computer to play Games .
