Unfortunately, I lot of my computer‘s memory is being used up by my iTune’s music and I don’t want to delete it, but I need to clear space somehow so my computer has a good amount of memory available. Thanks for your suggestions ahead of time!

An external hard drive will be your best bet. You can buy them for relatively inexpensive nowadays at electronic retailers or online. If you buy one, I suggest a Western Digital as they have always been the most reliable for me. You basically just cut and paste the files you want to over to it and you can still access them like you would normally.

You should buy an external and move your data to that.

Buy an external Drive for your music so you can clear up some space.
Then in the future if you feel like DIY buy a bigger internal hard drive and install that into your computer.
But your quickest and easiest route at this point is to buy an external drive. I like Western Digitals. Shop around and you can find a good deal.

Memory? You mean space on your hard drive?
If it is memory, you would need to install more RAM.
If it is storage, you can get an external hard drive or a 4MB flash drive to move the data.

By "Memory" I am guessing that you are referring to your available hard drive space. If you’re out of space, you need more. You can do this two way, the first of which you already mentioned. (deleting stuff) .. the other way is to add a hard drive.
If you are using a laptop, you can not have more than one hard drive and will have to consider the significantly more complicated process of backing up all of your important data (music, photos, blah blah) .. installing a BIGGER hard drive .. reinstalling Windows (presuming you’re not on a Mac or something) .. and then finally, putting back all of your junk. (music, etc)
Some people will scoff at the idea of this being complicated, but if you’ve never done it before, it can be very daunting. Moving your music to an external hard drive, as others have noted, is also a good option – but don’t skimp on the enclosure, because the cheap ones tend to suck.

Memory and hard drive space are 2 differant things all together, defrag your hard drive and remove unused programs, and use a program to remove duplicate files
