I saved a word document file onto my flash drive and the flash drive broke! I’m trying to recover the file on my computer; it recognized that I typed the document on my computer, but it can’t find it because I don’t have the flash drive anymore. Is there any way to work around this?

If the file was saved on your computer, and then moved to flash drive, then you can use asoftech data recovery to scan your computer and recover your files.

If the file was never saved on your computer, then there’s no way to recover them unless you get your flash drive back.
