Ok guys…here is a video I’ve been waiting on doing for quite some time. I put information in the video for how you all can request help from me and also I go over a current computer I’m building for a client. It is going to be a fabulous computer build –as it costs around ~K. It is going to be a performance king and going to look awesome! Please watch parts 1 & 2 … and of course the Computer showcase that I do when I finish building this monster. Stay tuned!!! As always, enjoy!

@vinhcit Just to clarify, I built an SLI gaming/work machine 1.5 years ago. But I don’t plan to build another system until next Spring.

Trudy, for the $50 thing, is there an expiration time or a limit on number of questions? I just got into desktop building 1.5 years ago, when I built a SLI gaming/working/media rig. I do have questions that I would like to ask someone. But I’m not building another system yet.

@vinhcit There really isn’t any limit on the $50 thing. I guess if two years go by and you are still wearing me out…then I’d say ‘hold up.’ :D No limits really, I will help the best I can…I’m sure all your questions could be answered pretty easily. I’m guessing anyway. :)

Hi, Trubyd44…I’ll buy a GTX460 1GB the next week…
CPU: Q8200 @3Ghz
RAM: 2x2GB DDR2
MB: Gigabyte P43
Is it a waste of money ? Now I have the HD4670 1GB but I run games at 1920×1080 and the 4670 is not that good. :S
What you think about it?
I’m sorry for my english, I’m from Peru.
Greetings! :)

I understand how you want to charge people but when so many people do this tech thing and answer questions for free you really fallout of luck in that market and even if I cant find the answer on youtube there are other sites and I have a gaming pc shop right up the street

@omega1919191919 Hey, no problem. If people can find the answers for free elsewhere that is cool. Try to find someone knowledgeable like Tributar or Maxishine to spend an hour with someone on email for ‘GOOD’ answers…good luck. Also, I was at ‘a computer shop up the street’ a couple of weeks ago and he tried to tell me that AMD was better for gaming. HEHE!!! Maybe about 4 years ago. Cutting edge computer knowledge is hard to find. :)

@bhdrandyal1993 I’ve used ATI for graphics and Nvidia for physX before, but it was really buggy and I don’t recommend it on an everyday basis. That is one of the reasons I went to Nvidia.

I use the Whirlpool forums (Australian based) as a baseline for anything PC related.

was just wondering im thinking of buying a ASUS Crosshair IV may i ask the how it is vs the rampage III? :)
September 6th, 2010 on 9:15 am
@jamesdrizzt The Rampage III is a lot better. Not only does it support and Intel processor, I had a buddy that bought the Crosshair IV and had some serious issues with it. Build quality and such, which is odd because it is ASUS.

Question on the R3E, plan to use it on my build, I’ve read some reviews of people having issues with the Northbridge over heating due to poor manufacturing basically. Mostly, poor thermal compound used or heatsinks not mounted/seated properly so the northbridge temps skyrocket, causing board to shut down. Have you had any issues with that using the R3E board? Did you replace the stock thermal compound on the board with the IC Diamond?
September 6th, 2010 on 10:14 am
@Trubyd44 Well, for anyone who can afford these types of builds, I don’t think 50 bucks should make a big difference lol. I mean for any gaming PC that you’d actually need pro-level help on, it’s gonna cost you 2500-3k minimum, tacking on 50 more bucks for good help shouldn’t really be an issue. :)
September 6th, 2010 on 10:24 am
@GenericName007 Yeah, and it give me something for my time if someone backs out. That is what was happening in the beginning. I would help people for days coming up with a build…then they would back out. :(
September 6th, 2010 on 10:25 am
@GenericName007 Yes, I replaced the stock thermal compound with IC Diamond when I installed the NB fan assembly.
September 8th, 2010 on 9:30 pm
where do you get the money to make all these beasts?
September 16th, 2010 on 7:52 pm
Man, what job do you have to make all that money? I would’ve been satisfied with 1 GTX480 lol…
