OH MY GOD. BEST REVIEW (title) EVER.
February 27th, 2011 on 10:24 am
haha.. the 2010 model is faster… you just wasted your money… i have the 2010 model and the startup time is 28 secs :)
February 27th, 2011 on 10:31 am
@DaGuyWithTheMask
The start-up speed of a computer does not represent the overall performance of the machine.
A MacBook Air for example will outperform ANY other mac in start-up speed because of it’s SSD, but obviously isn’t nearly as powerful as the high-end Macs.
Also, the first tests have shown the new MacBook Pro’s outperform the 2010 models by a whooping 200% across the board.

Just a question. Why do you have Linux inside your Mac?
February 27th, 2011 on 10:43 am
@ilovesamsungverymuch I need it for some of my college work :) I don’t use it too often, but I have to have it installed, unfortunately.

Hi Justin, nice job on the video!
I was wondering how 2011 MBP quad is handling heat. How loud is the fan, for example, when you turn on iMovie and stuff?
February 27th, 2011 on 10:50 am
@A392Hz The fan is not too loud, if you use iMovie (or even Skype, but that’s due to the stupid code under skype), the fans might get to 6000rpm, but it’s still not too loud;
Heat…I can’t really feel it; I can hold my hands on it while typing and it’s quite cold.
My friend (the revealingtech guy behind the camera) will be doing a performance test with final cut and such and I will be doing Call of Duty :)
February 27th, 2011 on 10:50 am
@RevealingTech Oh. Okay. Btw, nice video. You should do more video reviews :)
February 27th, 2011 on 10:58 am
@RevealingTech
Thank you! That was a quick response!
I will look forward to your call of duty performance test.
February 27th, 2011 on 12:20 pm
@DaGuyWithTheMask well my macbook air boots up in 14.3 seconds but it is alot weaker than my macbook pro 13″ (2010) ! so bootup isnt scientific!
February 27th, 2011 on 12:28 pm
So you listen to akon huh? :P
February 27th, 2011 on 12:30 pm
@Creepyzombie007 Yeah, “Justin Bieber” is a hardcore Akon fan :)) lol
February 27th, 2011 on 2:24 pm
Great video, can you show some high performance games so we can see how the graphics card handles. Crysis, Oblivion, Dirt 2, COD BO etc?
Thanks :D
February 27th, 2011 on 2:51 pm
nice one bro. Loved the review.
February 27th, 2011 on 2:53 pm
@RawTris Sure. I might do that some time, promise :)
February 27th, 2011 on 7:26 pm
You look more like the Jonas Brothers than Justin Bieber. lol
February 27th, 2011 on 7:31 pm
@Adisah520 Yeah, he does lol… Ironically, you’re not the first to say that about him. Thanks for the comment :) it made us laugh
February 27th, 2011 on 7:54 pm
nice review
February 27th, 2011 on 8:37 pm
You clearly know nothing about laptops, the speed of the processor has little to do with its speed of boot up. ‘lets hope apple put an SSD in the next model’ its already an option you clearly didnt select.
February 27th, 2011 on 8:40 pm
@ovorigin If you go to the unboxing video, which I recommend you do, you will see I bought it in-store the moment it came out (I was actually the first customer to buy one of these babies). Secondly, I meant having an SSD by default, not a slow 5400rpm HDD…

Why is the frame color white but not black?
