I’m looking for a socket 775 processor that is better or equal to a intel core 2 duo (2.0ghz) that are decent and CHEAP. They dont have to be super new or anything, and price is more of a priority than anything. The cheapest I’m finding is like 150 dollars and that just doesnt seem right….

What is your motherboard? it is not something like that if you have 775 Socket so you can use any 775 CPU.better check the list of supported CPUs for your motherboard.

What is the name of your motherboard? you can post it and I will see if E7500 can fit there.you also can go to your motherboard’s manufacturer site to see list of a supported CPUs for your motherboard.

List what motherboard you have and we could tell you what you need or will work in your motherboard….
You have a 775 socket… If it runs a FSB of 1066MHz and supports 45nm archetecture then you can certainly run the e7500 Wolfdale chip…….
