If you have a Walmart around you, they stock a very good printer for $39.99. I have one myself and I love it.
It’s a Canon Pixma IP2600. The ink cartridges are a fair price and are easy to refill.
I own a Ink and Toner Cartridge refill shop and they are very easy for me to refill. I’ve refilled my cartridges 4 times already.
Note: The printer comes with a color and black ink cartridges-
Color:CL-31 and Black: PG-30
Buy the CL-41 and PG-40, they hold 3X the amount of ink and will last you much longer.
Also, look online for remanufactured ink cartridges, I sell the CL-41 for $19.99 and the PG-40 for $15.99.

I don’t know if you will find a good printer that you could buy under $50, but I recomend HP Photosmart. You could use the website below.

go to newegg.com.. look under printers & scanners..in the left box look for inkjet printers… click..then in the left box look at Price you will see $25-50 click that and up comes 15 printers in that price range!
