I really want to purchase software that will allow me to make animated short films. I don’t have animation experience, I’m not extremely computer savvy, and I don’t have much money. Does anybody know of a good-quality, easy-to-use, reasonably priced animation program? My computer is a Dell laptop Inspiron E1405, if that’s a factor. Thanks so much for your help!

A good one to use is Flash Animator :) (Adobe is best)
Simple and fun to use, it has made many famous videos such as Charlie the Unicorn! <3

Well there are many options you can choose from when it comes to animating, first you must decide what style of animation you want to do, vector, stop frame etc..
Flash and Flex are great for creating flash animations.
Piviot is great for creating stickman animations
Stop motion is great for creating a stop frame animation
Gickr is great for creating animated GIFs
I hope this helps, if it does please vote top answer!
