There is no difference, I am a computer programmer, but my ego grows if you call me a software engineer. It’s like garbage man and sanitation "engineer". :)

computer programmer, software engineer, software developer are all often used to label the same position. I’ve not personally heard computer engineer but I suppose that could be the same.
Look into Computer Science courses.

Here’s the conclusion that I have found based on your question.
1. You don’t really care about being either programmer or engineer and have no passion about it. You only choose whichever pays more money.
2. You don’t like math.
Here’s my advice for you – pick another career, because you’re looking at the wrong one.
But to answer your question, different universities have different definitions for the 2 terms and therefore will require different set of courses.
I will give the definition that is being used in my university (University of Florida).
A computer engineer is basically a computer programmer that knows computers down to transistor level. A computer engineer has a solid foundation of both hardware and software aspects and is able to design a fully working computer machine from the ground up.
Computer engineers at UF have to take the same exact classes as computer programmers, but they have to take additionally classes about circuits, computer architecture and microprocessor design. Whereas computer programmers are free to fill in classes of their choice.

A computer engineer does design of hardware and chips a computer programmer or computer scientist focuses on the creation of software for the computer. In lower division classes the curriculum is the same but in upper division the computer engineer focuses more on computer architecture, physics and math.
